The lofting's done, and my good friend, Charles Jones, is helping to set up the stem. As can be seen, after correcting the offsets, I yanked the 48' loft floor up against the wall, and then referred to it constantly during building. I actually tacked that whole stem, or spine of the boat, right on the loft floor/wall (note the blocks) and then moved it to the floor to weld it, and then set it up. It's 3 1/2" x 1/2" flat bar, and it was like a piece of spaghetti for a while there. Next
